Part-time Bookkeeper

Hi there!

We're looking for a part-time Bookkeeper!

Please do not apply if you do not have at least one year relevant experience in bookkeeping.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. If you are passionate about numbers and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as the balance sheet and income statement
- Follow established accounting procedures and policies to maintain compliance

Requirements:

- Experience with QuickBooks
- QuickBooks certification (nice to have)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

This is in EST (Eastern Standard Time) from 10am-3pm.
This is a Part-time job that may transition to Full-time.
