JOB OVERVIEW

We're currently looking to hire an Operations Specialist for an on-demand hospitality staffing startup. In this role you’ll need to be able to do it all and multitask + think ahead like a pro. You’ll be owning day-to-day staffing needs on a shift-by-shift basis while delivering top-notch service and support to both the workers filling the shifts and the clients who need the shifts filled. You'll collaborate closely with the core operations team to ensure a seamless staffing marketplace experience and will own the success of the business on a daily basis. Ready to make an impact? Responsibilities:
- Filling multiple shifts in real-time so they’re filled on an hourly basis each day by requesting for more workers, working with the clients, and answering last minute support questions.
- Supporting workers and addressing their needs so that they can fill the shifts they’ve been assigned.
- Collaborating with other internal operations teaUpgrade to see actual infombers for process improvement.
- Managing large worker cohorts with bulk-communication tools.
- Analyzing and enhancing workflows as you learn to fully take on the role.
- Processing worker payments and managing certifications/documents.
- Ensuring excellent customer experience through effective communication.
- Being enthusiastic and advocating for marketplace workers and hospitality.

Requirements:
- 3+ years in BPO Customer Support/Onboarding experience with US sales exposure
- 1 year WFH experience
- Team Lead or Subject Matter Expert experience preferred.
- Comfort with asking lots of questions as a way to learn and understand the role
- Ability to be trained quickly and to productively receive feedback on how to improve along the way.
- Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and interest/experience in HR, staffing, hospitality, or marketplaces.
- Proven operations experience in a role where you’ve consistently taken on more responsibility.
- Proficiency in English, multitasking, and using internal tools/CRMs.
- Experience with automation tools is a huge plus (Zapier, Airtable, Make, etc.).
- Available on weekends (this business is the busiest on the weekends).
