JOB OVERVIEW

I am here to find TALENT and NOT cheaper staff. In our organization, you would have the opportunity to “Work Hard and Grow More”.

We work 9 hours a day in addition to half an hour break, 6 days a week.
We work AEDT 9:30am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday. It would be 7:30am to 5pm Philippines time April to September and 6:30am to 4pm October to March as Australia changes its time from October to March. It's called day light saving.

You will be working in a rewarding but high-pressure environment. If you have previously worked with a mortgage broking business, you will need to unlearn a lot of stuff of how other mortgage broking businesses work. We are compliance obsessed and empathy oriented. So, if you have read this carefully, please include are compliance obsessed and empathy oriented as the key phrase at the beginning of your application.

When we get a lead, we send them compliance documents and collect documentation, name each and every document correctly, study and scrutinize all the information and documentation. Then we put the data separately into different lender’s excel based spreadsheets. There are100s of data points and we do the calculations with at least 4 to 5 lenders that have policies suitable to the client. We play and juggle around with numbers to see what if client had a little more deposit, what if he pays little more stamp duty or insurance etc. Then we shortlist 3 best solutions for clients and prepare a document to present these solutions. We order the valuations of the properties, prepare the loan applications and get it signed by the client. We then review the application to ensure it has been signed correctly before submitting it to the lender with all the correct documentation attached. Sometimes the lender’s assessors may ask for more information. In our business, we try to eliminate this step and we aim to prepare an airtight application where there is no further questions asked by the assessor once we submit the application. Once the application is approved, we inform the client, then we receive the loan documents, we review all the information in the loan documents to make sure that each and every thing is aligned with our application and approval. You will be trained step by step on each aspect. Eventually, I would expect all my teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to become masters of compliance policies, product offerings of multiple lenders. There are resources and trainings available for that. In our business, harder you work luckier you get. The industry and business we are in is very unforgiving. One mistake can make us lose the licence and in eyes of clients, we are only as good as our last delivery. So, you will need to be aware of these criticalities of the business. I am aware of and respectful to the 13th month culture in Philippines. This year, you will work only about 6-7 months with us by December and hence you will be given 15-day week paid leave and 1week’s worth salary as bonus in December. From next year, you will have 15 days paid leave and 15 days’ worth salary as bonus.
