Medical Virtual Scribe

A Medical Virtual Scribe specializes in taking information about the patient in the presence of the physician during a live or recorded medical consultation and examination. Looking for intelligent, smart, hard working, willing to learn individual with good customer skills. Need US Healthcare experience.
Medical field: Neurology, Brain Injury, Pain Medicine.

Responsibilities:

Accurately & thoroughly document medical visits and procedures performed by the Physician/Nurse practitioner
Capturing and transcribing consultations (in SOAP format and physician-preferred formats), diagnostic test results, notes from other providers, and patient management plan/health teaching
Create and send laboratory or imaging orders through different platforms and follow up on results accordingly
Verify prescriptions and initiate prior authorizations as necessary
Review and prepares medical charts before and after the consultation
Documenting completed procedures and ensuring medical record compliance through self-attestation documentation
Providing administrative support duties which include but are not limited to data entry, appointment scheduling, email management, and record management
Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients by acting as a primary liaison between patients and providers
Strictly adhering and complying with the HIPAA policy
Assist in coordinating and managing telemedicine sessions for Spanish-speaking patients.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries or concerns from patients.
Conduct pre visit triage and follow-up calls with patients to monitor their progress and answer any additional questions.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills
Graduate of any allied 4-year medical course (RN or MBBS, MD is a plus).
At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe for a US-based healthcare provider
Typing Speed of at least 60WPM
Strong knowledge of medical terminologies
Experience in using and navigating EMR/s - Kareo/Tebra
Intermediate skills with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
Excellent time management
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Computer savvy
