Medical Billing Specialists/Coordinator

If you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding, along with a thorough understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis codes, we want to hear from you!

Essential Duties Include:
Recording insurance information from patients
Utilizing multiple EHR systems proficiently
Employing knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
Communicating with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies
Addressing billing questions from patients
Liaising with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and others regarding payment problems and issues
Reviewing patient files and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
Identifying missing/inaccurate information and correcting in accordance with billing guidelines
Completing quality reviews of each patient file to ensure accurate billing and compliance with payer regulations

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
Advanced computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the insurance industry and third-party payer processes
Experience with medical billing software and electronic health records
Proficiency in medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis codes
