Marketing Assistant

Role Overview:
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, focusing on promoting vacation rental properties across various online platforms. The successful candidate will leverage their marketing expertise to drive bookings, increase property visibility, and optimize listing performance. This role is remote and requires a self-motivated individual who can effectively manage their time and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Job Role and Responsibilities

Listing Optimization:
Utilize market research and industry trends to optimize property listings on Airbnb.
Write/review compelling property descriptions, headlines, and captions to attract potential guests.
Enhance listing photos and multimedia content to showcase property features and amenities.
Oversee content on websites

Marketing Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each property.
Identify target demographics and create targeted marketing campaigns to reach potential guests.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven optimizations.

Social Media Management:
Manage and maintain social media accounts for vacation rental properties, including posting content, engaging with followers, and responding to inquiries.
Create and curate engaging content to showcase properties and attract potential guests.
Monitor social media analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Guest Communication and Engagement:
Respond to guest reviews and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Track all reviews received

Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and guest preferences.
Analyze market data to identify opportunities for growth and development within the vacation rental industry.
Stay updated on industry news and developments to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
Prepare analytics reports for the marketing team


Print content
Create graphic designs for marketing pieces, including print and digital advertisements and social media campaigns.
Create marketing content, including pictures and videos for social media and blog/website content
Provide marketing, including ordering marketing brochures and other collateral


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on the hospitality industry and vacation rentals.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with third-party platforms and listing optimization techniques.
Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and hospitality.
Knowledge of best practices for email marketing campaigns, online advertising, and SEO
The ability to efficiently prioritize while handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must be a creative, motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
