Mapping Specialist

Job Description:

Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Southern California Car Dealership Mapping Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously mapping out every new car dealership within the Southern California region using Google Maps.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify all new car dealerships within the designated area of Southern California.

Mapping: Utilize Google Maps and other mapping tools to accurately mark the locations of each identified car dealership.

Data Collection: Gather pertinent information about each dealership, including name, address, contact details, brands sold, and any additional relevant information.

Verification: Ensure the accuracy of the mapped locations and dealership information through cross-referencing with reliable sources.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of mapped dealerships, including detailed notes and any updates or changes.

Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to share mapping data and insights for strategic decision-making purposes.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to verify the integrity and completeness of the mapped data.

Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback on mapping processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in using Google Maps
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
Strong research and data collection skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently
Prior experience in mapping or geographic data analysis is a plus.

Additional Information:

This is a temporary project-based position with the potential for extension based on project needs.
