Long Form Content Video Editor

Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and highly skilled long-form editor who is ready to work alongside our content creation team.

An ideal fit is an editor who is passionate, hard-working, and collaborative in an environment that balances speed with attention to detail.

You’ll report directly to the COO (Benjamin Squibb) and will work closely with our team to create and distribute high-quality edited content for our clients.

You should have a keen understanding of the best strategies for pacing, structure, music, and graphic needs to produce top-tier YouTube content.

We’ll do our best to provide you with the tools, training, and resources you need to excel in this role, as your success determines our success.

Pay Structure:

Pay is based on your level of expertise and the extent of your commitment to the team.

You will be paid on a per-hour basis, and rates can range between $5-$20/hour.

You’ll also have the potential to earn bonuses for high-performing videos you edited.

Depending on video performance metrics, these bonuses can range anywhere from $20 to $100

You are expected to be available to work for at least 20 hours per week to work with the clients in our catalogue.

Requirements:

- Fluent English Speaking is a MUST
- 1+ Year(s) of Video Editing Experience
- Available at least 5 days/week
- Must have a high-quality portfolio of previous long-form editing work
- You must have excellent communication skills because this role is highly collaborative, and you may speak directly with clients.
- You are an expert at creating content that maximizes viewer retention / average view duration.
- You have a thorough understanding of the YouTube algorithm.
- Ability to identify and implement editing styles, formats, audio types, music choices, and more to produce top-notch content.
