Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The primary responsibilities include reviewing financial reports in QuickBooks Desktop, executing adjusting journal entries, managing depreciation and amortization schedules, and monitoring intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities:

•Review Financial Reports: Thoroughly examine financial reports generated in QuickBooks Desktop. Identify discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
•Adjusting Journal Entries: Prepare and book adjusting journal entries to correct errors, update accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Work closely with senior teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to understand and implement necessary adjustments.
•Depreciation and Amortization Schedules: Maintain and update schedules for depreciation and amortization in accordance with accounting policies. Monitor changes in asset values and update schedules accordingly.
•Intercompany Transactions: Track and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accurate recording and elimination of intercompany balances. Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any discrepancies in intercompany accounts.

Skills:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop is required
• Conversational English fluency
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education and Work Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•2 – 3 years of related work experience
