OneEnergy Partners was formed to pursue middle market acquisition and development opportunities in the North American energy space by combining best-in-class investing and operating expertise. OneEnergy Partners, LLC, formed in late 2015, assembled, developed and divested of a ~12,000 net acre leasehold position and a ~5,000 net royalty acre mineral/override position in the Northern Delaware Basin. OneEnergy Partners II Holdings, LLC, formed in early 2019, is currently focused on identifying, accumulating and developing conventional and unconventional oil and gas assets across several major North American oil and natural gas plays.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities across multiple industries. You will work directly with the Partners of the company to identify, assess, and execute investment opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with and learn from senior investment professionals. Your analysis will focus on a detailed evaluation of market trends, industry dynamics, and other relevant data to provide insights and recommendations on investment decisions.

Job Description:

Financial Analysis:

Conduct thorough financial analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
Evaluate financial statements, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to assess potential investments' financial health and stability.
Research and Due Diligence:

Stay abreast of economic, market, and industry developments to inform investment strategies.
Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including company visits, management interviews, and industry research.
Modeling and Valuation:

Build and maintain complex financial models to assess the intrinsic value of potential investments.
Utilize various valuation techniques, such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.
Risk Management:

Identify and assess risks associated with potential investments, working collaboratively with the risk management team to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Communication:

Prepare detailed and insightful investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate investment recommendations, insights, and risks to the investment team and clients.
Collaboration:

Work closely with the Partners to share insights, discuss potential opportunities, and collectively make informed decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management and compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Advisory Support:

Provide support and analysis for the development and implementation of investment strategies.
Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices to contribute to strategic decision-making.
Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of advancements in financial markets, investment strategies, and industry regulations.
Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred
Must have a background in economics, finance, or actuary work
5 - 7 years of proven experience as an Investment Analyst or similar role in the financial industry
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strategic thinking and the ability to make well-informed, data-driven decisions.
