Description:
As an Eligibility and Benefits Verification Specialist at Stratus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication with insurance companies to verify patients' eligibility and benefits information. Your efforts will contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare technology solutions, facilitating accurate insurance details and improved patient experience.

Responsibilities:
Initiate outbound calls to insurance companies to verify patients' eligibility and benefits information.
Accurately document and update patient insurance details in the company's web portal
Communicate effectively with insurance representatives to gather relevant information and resolve any discrepancies
Timely turnaround for completing requested verifications by Stratus client

Requirements:
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Good organizational skills and fantastic responsiveness when performing tasks
Proficient in using computer systems
Familiarity with healthcare insurance terminology and processes a plus
Previous experience in a call center environment is a plus

Education/Experience:
College Degree
Experience working with insurance companies is a plus
