Head of Growth - Social Media Management

I’m looking for a Full time Social Media Manager (30-40 per week) to help grow the audience for my podcast and newsletter. The work hours are between 6am and 4pm U.S. Pacific Time, though these are flexible once you have been fully trained and settled into the position. Candidates must be organized and creative, with advanced skills in Graphic Design, and deep understanding of major Social Media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work ready to present, as well as a proven history of growing an engaged audience on Social Media.

Your Top Tasks:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing plan to increase listenership, subscriptions, and engagement across our content assets.
Use podcast and newsletter material to create engaging and shareable content that reflects our brand's voice and resonates with our target audience.
Develop and maintain sponsor relationships
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
Engage with our online community through thoughtful interactions and relationship-building.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including video editors to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing approach.
Additional administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
3-5+ years of experience in social media marketing, content growth, or a related role.
Advanced skills with Canva or similar design software.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.
Strong understanding of brand growth strategies on Social Media platforms including: Youtube and Youtube Shorts, facebook, tiktok, Instagram, X, Linkedin, and more.
Creative thinker with a passion for community engagement and brand storytelling.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with analytics tools and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Willing to during hours listed above.
Have a smartphone and laptop with good internet connection.

Pay:
You will start at lower pay initially (amount listed on job post), but will immediately have the opportunity to get bonuses for securing paid sponsorships.
You will be paid twice a month based on hours worked and bonuses earned.
You will also get incremental raises over time based on your performance.

My passion lies in driving scalable growth, particularly through acquisitions and strategic talent integration (acqui-hires). For over 3 years, I have hosted a Top 10 Ranked (by FeedRunner in 2022) SME M&A (mergers and acquisitions) podcast that interviews mentors, industry leaders, authors, attorneys, brokers, business owners, and other M&A experts to discuss what it’s like to buy or sell a small to medium-sized business.
