JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and versatile HR Manager! If you believe you have what it takes to succeed in this role, we encourage you to apply!

The HR Manager is responsible for managing payroll, employee benefits and compensation, US labor compliance (as applicable), and employee training and development.

Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the HR database, ensuring it is updated daily or as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, HR employee data, company org chart, applicant tracking system, change log, etc.
- Ensure the handbook is updated and sent to all employees every quarter.
Send out regular employee opinion surveys and ensure results are analyzed and sent to VPs/stakeholders.
- Ensure all HR SOPs are updated and loaded in Docu360.
- Ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time. Drive payroll accuracy by keeping a running tally of payroll errors and maintaining a tracker on labor cost and expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting any excessive overtime, undertime, and raises.
- Ensure HR requests are acknowledged and actioned within acceptable time periods. This includes, but is not limited to, requests sent via HR tickets, requests sent in Slack, requests via email, and verbal requests. For better management, these requests should be tracked in Asana and assigned to appropriate people in the HR team with set due dates and updated comments.
- Manage ASANA boards of HR, direct reports, and ensure everyone in HR has enough tasks.
- Coach direct reports weekly and document these sessions via a coaching log and/or video recording.
- Oversee performance reviews and employee promotions, ensuring an up-to-date tracker on all raises, promotions, and PIPs.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of company policies and ensuring adherence by employees. Take the lead in reporting, tracking, and addressing any policy violations, always keeping in mind what is best for MAG.
- Ensure the employee onboarding process is efficient and that onboarding materials are always up to date.
- Take the lead in creating initiatives for employee retention and engagement.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in areas such as employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR administration.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Has strong knowledge and expertise in creation and integration of company SOPs and other policies.
