JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
Communications Specialists for Bayshore Vacation Rentals (BVR) will be responsible for answering guest inquiries relating to their stay at a Bayshore Vacations’s property in a prompt and professional manner.
This position has daily hours and requires nightly and weekend hours due to the nature of the responsibilities. The ability of the Communication Specialists to be on call and/or flexible in their weekly hours is necessary. This role is remote.

Please note that we are still in the process of crafting what this position looks like on a day to day business. Hours and details are subject to change! We are looking to hire two people for this role.

General Shifts:
Weekdays: 5 am-11am and on call 11am-7pm
Weekends: 9pm-11am and on call 11am- 9pm
You will still be responsible for answering during the on-call hours of the designated times, they will just be paid per inquiry and not per hour and inquiry.
Job Details:
Hourly and Per Contact:
Hourly: $6-$12 an hr
Per Inquiry (during on all inquiries): beginning at 50 cents per response/negotiable per guest inquiry/ message stream (phone call, email, text)
Please note: each guest inquiry is paid 50 cents no matter the extent of the replies
*Capped at $20 an hour

General Responsibilities:
Champion of the Inbox
Serves as the point of contact for guest needs
Responsible for answering or delegating all emails, phone calls, and texts coming into Guesty (Airbnb, VRBO included)
Assist guests with check in instructions, directions to properties, general questions, etc.
Receive and delegate inquiries relating to pricing, maintenance, and cleaning to appropriate parties
Executor of Guest Tasks
Aids in the execution of guest requests and inquiries
Follows up with guests regarding their stay
Follows up with guests after inquiries
Curator of Automated Responses
Creates baseline messages / saved replies for easy and streamlined guest communication
Aids in the cultivation of FAQs
