Palmer Construction, a leading roofing company based in Spokane Valley, WA, USA, is expanding its team and is currently seeking a motivated General Virtual Assistant with a focus on HR and Recruitment to join our dynamic and growing company. This is a remote/virtual position that provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our human resources and recruitment functions.
Responsibilities:
As a General Virtual Assistant focusing on HR and Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources Department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in recruitment activities such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinating onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting in employee relations activities, including handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Supporting HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Providing general administrative support, which may include handling documentation, managing calendars, coordinating appointments, and organizing files.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and support where necessary.
You MUST have:
- Proven experience in an HR or recruitment support role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various HR tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HR software or tools is a plus.
