Gameplay Video Editor

Position Overview:
WeMod is seeking a highly creative and skilled Gameplay Video Editor to join our content team. This role is perfect for someone who combines their passion for gaming with exceptional video editing skills to create engaging and dynamic content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for storytelling through gameplay footage, a strong understanding of the gaming community, and the technical prowess to produce high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce compelling gameplay videos and trailers that highlight the features and excitement of various games and WeMod’s tools.
- Work closely with the content team to conceptualize and execute video projects that align with WeMod’s brand and audience interests.
- Ensure all videos are edited to a high standard, incorporating creative storytelling and engaging visuals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming trends, new releases, and WeMod’s product updates to suggest and create relevant content.
- Collaborate with other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to gather footage, create storyboards, and develop video concepts.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:
- Proven experience (several years) as a video editor with a focus on gameplay or related content.
- A powerful PC capable of running any modern game and video editing software efficiently.
- A deep passion for gaming, with extensive knowledge of different game genres, trends, and the gaming community.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and experience with graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Must include a portfolio/reel of recent work showcasing gameplay video editing.
