Job Description
As a Technical Local SEO Specialist, you will lead the technical audits, analysis, and implementation of technical recommendations to help uncover and improve GBP performance and enhance local visibility for GBP listing.
You will be responsible for the success of positioning GBP listings on the three-pack for relatively competitive keywords.
You will be expected to have the skills required to assist local brick and mortars with getting prominent visibility on Google Maps and local results in SERPs. Additional Examples of Responsibilities:
• Identify and address errors/issues on Google Business Profile
• Identify and implement required best SEO practices on websites to improve the success of GBP Listings
• Do local link building and GBP-specific link building to help improve authority and rankings
• Understand and implement processes for finding opportunities for citations and directories.
• Assist with geo-specific content strategies
• Keep pace with SEO industry trends and developments and report changes as needed.
• Preparing detailed strategy reports
• Analyzing and reporting on SEO techniques used by competitors
