Full-time SEO Account Manager

Overview:

This role is responsible for testing, analyzing, strategizing on page and off page SEO for clients, ensuring high rankings in the search results. Managing multiple projects is essential to this position. This person must ensure that all deliverables are done with superior quality at the expected time frame at the full satisfaction of the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting in Upgrade to see actual info
• Managing SEO team output/performance/quality
• Ongoing optimization of processes for SEO
• SEO Technical implementation
• Perform ongoing keyword research including expansion of keyword opportunities, optimization, and planning
• SOP creation
• Create templated pages
• Create schema markup
• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success
• Research and implement best practices for technical onsite SEO and Site Structure
• Optimize copy and landing pages for local search engine optimization
• Work closely with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Manage 20+ accounts

Tools:

• Comfortable with Google Analytics (setting it up, tracking, doing UTM codes, etc.)
• Skilled in Google business listing
• Comfortable with Ahrefs
• Comfortable with Screaming Frog
• Comfortable with WordPress and Elementor (preferably some background with Rank Math or Yoast)
• Comfortable in Schema markup

Requirements/Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills (client-facing)
• Confident in abilities but extremely coachable
• Proven SEO experience (at least 5 years)
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console)
• Knowledge in ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Knowledge in Website SEO structure (WordPress and Duda)
• Knowledge in Technical website SEO (Schema, copywriting, speed, etc.)
• Must be able to use tools such as Ahrefs (required), Semrush, Mangools, Keyword Planning, GMB Everywhere
• Consistent

This is in Graveyard Shift.
