Full-Stack Developer (Java, Spring Boot, JQuery)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Full Stack Developer to join our team on a short-term basis with the potential for longer-term involvement. The primary responsibility of this role will be to continue development a multi-tenant application using a multi-module Spring Boot framework. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and HTML5. Knowledge of image processing using JMagick, OpenCV, etc would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a multi-tenant application using a multi-module Spring Boot framework.
- Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement front-end components using HTML, Bootstrap 5, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate with third party apis (ex: AWS Storage, Dropbox, Google Maps)
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Java, with a strong understanding of Spring Boot framework.
- Experience in building Multi-Module Spring Boot applications using Maven is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for front-end development.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with java image processing libraries such as JMagick
- Ability to work with restful web services
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Prior experience with short-term projects and willingness to potentially transition to a longer-term role.
