Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)

Work Hours: 8 AM to 4 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This remote position is ideal for a professional based in the Philippines who is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role in a fast-paced environment. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our team of bookkeepers, ensuring that all financial tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of bookkeepers, managing deadlines, priorities, and ensuring compliance with remittance deadlines.
Assist in the onboarding of new clients, including setting up the scope of work and integrating tasks into our task management system.
Manage client communications effectively, including handling some Zoom calls.
Train and guide the team to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Completing more difficult bookkeeping tasks

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in a senior bookkeeping role.
At least 1 year of leadership/management experience.
Certification in QuickBooks Online.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable with remote communication tools and task management systems.

Preferred but not required:

Previous experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with the bookkeeping and financial practices specific to North American businesses.
Previous experience with ClickUp.
