Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, with a focus on supporting eCommerce brands. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Collaborate with eCommerce brands to develop comprehensive financial plans and budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and recommend actionable insights.
- Provide ongoing financial forecasting and modeling to support business decision-making.

Forecasting:
- Utilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate financial forecasts for eCommerce brands.
- Monitor and assess the financial implications of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and other external factors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine forecasts and adjust strategies as needed.

Model Builds:
- Design and develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and strategic opportunities.
- Perform scenario analysis to assess the impact of various business decisions on financial outcomes.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial models through rigorous testing and validation.

Performance Tracking & Model Maintenance:
- Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of the P&L and bank statements with the annual model, including conducting variance analysis to compare budget versus actuals.
- Weekly Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the AP/AR point person to reconcile upcoming payments for the next 1-4 weeks and accurately enter them into the financial system.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Update the actual inventory for our clients on a weekly/monthly basis in our inventory forecast sheet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory Re-forecasting: Adjust inventory purchase schedules and COGS outlay following bi-weekly revenue re-forecasts, done in collaboration with the head of finance and clients.
- Financial Model Updates: Update existing financial models with added costs in predefined categories, ensuring continuous accuracy and relevance of financial data.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the eCommerce industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Sheets, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and build complex models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective written & English speaking communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
