Financial Analyst VA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Financial Analyst to join our team and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial tasks including but not limited to:
Recording financial transactions accurately and timely.
Reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
Generating financial reports for management review.
Monitoring cash flow and forecasting future financial needs.
Develop and implement effective financial systems:
Design and maintain efficient accounting procedures.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Streamline processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Handle financial analysis:

Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting:
Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates.
Identify opportunities for cost-saving or revenue-generating initiatives.

Support payroll processing:

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.
Maintain payroll records and compliance with relevant regulations.
Address any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a minimum of 6 months in a relevant position.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software/Google Sheets.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in building and optimizing financial systems is a plus.
