About the Role

As Finance and Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategic direction and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be responsible for collaborating across departments to drive financial leadership, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

The Finance and Operations Analyst will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations to support the business across the following areas:

Finance: (Primary)

Support the development and implementation of financial and accounting strategies, processes, and systems to support the rapid growth of the business.
Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
Prepare and review financial statements, operating budgets, working capital, and cash flow projections.
Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, month-end accruals, payroll, and purchase order controls.
Provide timely preparation and communication of financial statements and variance analysis, including solutions-focused reporting.
Analyse new business opportunities through comprehensive commercial business case analysis for presentation to senior management and investment partners.

Operations: (Secondary)

Support the development and execution of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) functions within the business.
Drive improvement in demand forecasting across all customer channels and maximise sales opportunities and growth.
Assist with the supply planning process by identifying risks and opportunities to achieve business growth strategy.
Act as a key contact for customers including direct retailers and wholesalers, ensuring timely processing of orders and reporting.
Liaise with third party logistics partners to ensure timely shipment of customer orders and oversee transaction flow within the warehouse management system.
Assist with inventory management to target holding levels as agreed through business operating plans.


Other Responsibilities

Make necessary process suggestions and improvements which can help the team.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.

About You

A fully qualified CA/CPA (current)
5+ years of accounting experience.
3+ years of supply chain experience in FMCG (ideal but not mandatory).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills to effectively analyse and process financial data.
High level of commercial acumen with experience in financial analysis, accounting, and internal financial controls.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proactive and forward-thinking.
Analytical with the ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
Results-driven with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reconciling results.
Ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
Experience or passion for working within a fast-scaling small business environment.
