Join our team as a Finance Officer and work with a premier furniture manufacturing company in Australia, dedicated to crafting innovative and high-quality furniture solutions

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to manage our financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, experience with Xero accounting software, a degree in finance or related field, and familiarity with Australian taxation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to
support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance
sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian taxation procedures and regulations,
including the timely filing of tax returns and payments.
Xero Expertise: Utilize Xero accounting software to manage financial transactions, reconcile
accounts, and generate reports.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
improvement.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records
and documentation.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend
improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Strong understanding of Australian taxation procedures and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
CPA or CA certification (preferred but not required).
