The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing a large-scale membership site with subscriptions and courses powered by WordPress and LearnDash.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and availability.
Write clean, robust, and custom code to implement various features as per the client's requirements.
Manage all aspects of the WordPress backend, including plugin management, theme customization, and database administration.
Expertly handle CPanel operations and MySQL database management to ensure smooth server-side functionality.
Create and manage APIs for integration with other applications and software systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Conduct website performance tests and optimize for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure website security by implementing industry best practices and staying updated with new threats and vulnerabilities.
Provide on-call support during designated hours to address urgent issues or updates as required by the client.
Document all work and maintain a comprehensive development log.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with the ability to program and customize extensively.
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and experience with WordPress themes and Upgrade to see actual info-depth knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
Experience with LearnDash LMS plugin and building membership sites with subscription-based models.
Proficiency in managing hosting environments, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
Solid understanding of MySQL, including database troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Expertise in API development, configuration, and management.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Hours:
This position requires the candidate to be available during business hours in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Mountain Standard Time (MST) zones with no exceptions, as the client requires on-call support within these timeframes.
