Responsibilities
Monitor and manage all chargeback cases and disputes across various payment platforms.
Investigate and analyze chargeback claims to determine their validity.
Compile and submit compelling evidence to contest unjustified chargebacks.
Liaise with financial institutions, payment processors, and customers to resolve disputes effectively.
Maintain detailed records of all chargeback cases and outcomes.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce the incidence of chargebacks.
Provide regular reports on chargeback trends, success rates, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with customer service and finance teams to align on policies and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in chargeback management, fraud prevention, or a related field in an ecommerce environment.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems and financial regulations related to ecommerce.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
