E-commerce Video Editor (Facebook Ads)

Hi! I run a digital marketing agency out of Canada, and I'm looking for a well-rounded video editor to join our fast growing team!

Tasks:
- Plan and create high converting videos (ex. product videos, long form, etc.) to be used on social media ads
- Test different variations to optimize for watch time metrics
- Review creative performance and try to improve
- Monitoring and reporting of stats and metrics
- Communicating with clients or VAs
- Tasks on Gsheets, Shopify, Airtable
- Creating training materials (screen recording or written)
- Basic photo/video editing (Canva/Capcut), drag-and-drop website builders etc.
- Ad hoc tasks

Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Experience with video editing, graphic design
- Able to produce high converting product videos
- Understands marketing and social media trends
- Attention to detail
- Responds to messages quickly
- Is highly organized
- Learns things on your own quickly (you don't need help with things you can Google)
- Takes responsibility to complete things you commit to
- Fast delivery of work as speed of execution is important.

You should be a performance focused video editor as there will be a bonus commission based on how well the videos perform.

This job starts off as $3.5/hr, with the possibility to transition to a full-time contract with long term career advancement opportunities. Also includes 13th month bonus!
