JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a Digital marketing /social media whiz with a passion for creative content? And all things social media/ Then join our energetic team as a Digital Marketing Assistant!
In this dynamic role, you'll be a key player in shaping our digital strategy. You'll help us craft a magnetic online presence, from managing our website to rocking our social media channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide input to the company’s over digital marketing strategy
• Assist in developing the company’s online market presence including management and development of the Company's website(s) and social media channels/platforms
• Challenge current business digital marketing processes through the application of continuous improvement and best practices.
• Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
• Maintain a social media calendar.
• Keep current with changes in social media platforms for the business ensuring maximum effectiveness.
• Provide administrative support when required.
• Write relevant standard operating procedures relevant to job activities.
• Create engaging text, image and video content.
• Create and edit videos.
• Establish and maintain email campaigns.
• Video editing skills


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• 2-3 years of digital marketing experience, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent and coherent communication skills- written and verbal.
• Must have a working
knowledge of WordPress.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in the use of Adobe Creative and Canva,
• Creative writing skills.
• Working knowledge of content marketing.
• Be able to deliver creative content (text, image, video).
• Working knowledge of managing business social media marketing platforms viz: LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics
• Ability to create and monitor email campaigns using mail chimp.
• Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise and work independently.
• Able to maintain a consistently high standard whilst working to tight deadlines
• Competent at proofreading and excellent attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent data and analytical skills.
- High level of self-motivation and a results-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics.

Work schedule and holidays:
This part-time position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hours are flexible

Career potential:
You will be working directly with the Owners of the company. As our businesses grow this role will likely become full-time.
