JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time DevOps Engineer to join the International Drivers Association team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain automation tools, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of DevOps principles, experience with cloud platforms, and a proactive mindset towards improving our overall system infrastructure.

Scope of Work:

Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate the software delivery process.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable code deployment.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Implement security best practices to safeguard our systems and data.
Collaborate with other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to define and document DevOps processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to propose and implement improvements.
Provide support during system outages and participate in on-call rotations if required.
Contribute to the overall improvement of our development and deployment practices.
Any other devops specific work

Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficient in scripting languages like Django/Python
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
