JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Design Associate, Fully-remote
Salary Range: TBD
Schedule: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm PST Monday-Friday (1:00 am - 9:00 am PH Time)

As an Entry-Level Design Associate at TDDG, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of various architectural projects in the US. You will work under the supervision of Design Leads based in California, assisting in creating high-quality, innovative, and functional residential designs. This position is open to individuals early in their architectural career looking to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Roles:
- Design Development: Assist in the creation of detailed construction documents using CAD & Revit for various California projects. Proficient in understanding of MEP, Structural and Civil Engineering plans and their impacts on architectural design. Understanding of various IBC Type V Construction Drawing / Detailing is preferred but not required.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with Design Leads, Engineers, and other consultants to ensure the seamless integration of all project components.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and stakeholders, ensuring all project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure all designs comply with California building codes, City/County Zoning laws, and industry standards.
- Documentation: Prepare and organize project documentation, including project history, coordination, project delivery schedule and reports.
- Client Interaction: Participate in virtual teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings, presentations, and reviews to discuss project progress and incorporate feedback.
- Building Permit: Prepare complete submission package and secure Building Permits through online application on various Jurisdictions in California.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Experience: 3 years minimum experience in the Architecture / Construction Industry. Previous US experience is preferred but not required.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Revit is required. Knowledge of other design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating a proactive and responsible approach to work.
- Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
