Customer Support Agent

BuiltByBit is a gaming marketplace for primarily teenage entrepreneurs to sell digital assets for a variety of games, primarily Minecraft and Roblox.

We’re hiring someone to assist our customer support team with support tickets and content moderation. This includes the following daily activities:

1. Respond to support tickets to ensure all tickets are responded to within 48 hours.
2. Handle reports against posted content to ensure they follow site policies and guidelines
3. Arbitrate disputes between users

The qualifications we are looking for include:

1. Experience with customer support, specifically through ticket systems
2. Experience with gaming communities, Minecraft or Roblox being preferred
3. Strong writing skills
4. Strong interpersonal skills

Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

- Applying policies and rules as part of content moderation
- Reading and interpreting terms of service and contractual agreements

Currently, we are expecting this role would be 10-20 hours of work a week. You will be paid at an hourly rate of $7. On average, expect to be paid $500 a month. There is the potential for this position to become full-time if the need arises and the individual wants to become full-time.

You will be working closely primarily with 2 other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.

We are very flexible with work hours as our team is remote across many time zones. We expect your time to be roughly spread out throughout the week to keep our average response time low. There will be a one-month probationary period.
