Our municipal finance experts, coupled with our proprietary platform Localgov, deliver significant revenue, and simplify tax and fee administration for government agencies. As we grow, we're looking for a Customer Service Help Desk Representative to join our team and help drive our mission forward.

Job Description:
As a Customer Service Help Desk Representative at Azavar, your role will be crucial in addressing and solving issues for government staff, businesses, and residents. You will provide support through phone, chat, and email, handling both inbound and outbound calls.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist government staff in their needs related Azavar’s programs and day-to-day use of the Localgov platform.
- Provide guidance and support to resolve taxpayer questions and issues promptly.
- Conduct outbound outreach to businesses to facilitate account setup.
- Assist in follow-ups for delinquent accounts, addressing payment declines, and managing refund requests.
- Provide technical support to users experiencing technical difficulties with our platform.
- Responsible for maintaining key performance indicators such as average time to first response and time to resolution of issues.
- Utilize your professional customer service skills to resolve customer issues effectively.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the municipal sector or software industry.
- Excellent proficiency in English and minimal accent is required
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must be willing to work the graveyard shift on Central Daylight Time, Chicago USA.
