JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable, caring, and communicative voice agents for an English (U.S.) medical account. This is a full time work-from-home role taking calls for the company. Hours are 9am-5pm CST USA Monday through Friday. You will be required to work / login with a Virtual Desktop in order to help achieve HIPAA compliance. You’ll need to be empathetic, professional, and courteous at all times. Some previous medical experience is required, specifically within working in EHRs, office processes, etc. You must have great spoken English as well as English comprehension.

We will be checking for accents as the client is a bit “accent sensitive.” You will be required to take HIPAA training, which will be provided to you. You will be taking phone calls and following the company processes, as well as any other assigned work from the client. There will be 2 days of training with HelpSquad, and then the client is responsible for training you the rest of the way. We are also looking for 1 Team Lead position to be filled along with the 3 VA slots. The team lead will be responsible for learning the training processes and training any new or replacement VAs moving forward, in a “train-the-trainer” type model.

Other Requirements,
Minimum 1 year of Medical experience, especially in regards to using an EHR / EMR.
Punctual
Reliable
Great English Speaking skills
Must be Communicative
Must be Caring and empathetic
Understands the importance of HIPAA and privacy laws (post training)
Must have a great headset with great voice and sound quality / clarity
Must have an internet connection of at least 50 mpbs down and up.
MUST have backups for both internet and power. This is non-negotiable
Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including holidays (both local and US)


Computer requirements:
At least 8gb ram if i5 processor
Or at least 16 ram if i3 process
And less than 5 years old


Non-requirements, but helpful:
Veradigm (formerly known as Allscripts) experience
Basic understanding of human biology (especially the circulatory system)
Detail oriented
Knowing how to navigate and read an EHR
Patience with all of the clients' patients.
