We are a small, Hawaii-based team that works with small restaurant business clients in the United States. We’re looking for an independent and highly competent social media manager who can deftly manage account set-ups, copywriting, content scheduling across multiple platforms, and user engagement to help share the stories and dishes behind these great small businesses. Our goal with each client is to bolster their digital marketing, build up their social media presence, and increase their total sales.
Responsibilities & Duties

- May need to be available occasionally for a call and/or video conference on Hawaii-Standard Time (HST) business hours
- Maintain organized files and folders in cloud storage for client content and related digital files
- Download photo, video, and brand vector files related to client content from cloud storage
- Create and/or verify access and permissions to client’s social media accounts. This may require speaking to clients directly over the phone.
- Update client social media profiles, as needed, including call-to-actions, links, business photo, and profile descriptions
- Adhere to client brand and logo usage guidelines, if provided
- Integrate ManyChat chatbot into client’s social messengers to automate digital coupon distribution, access to client FAQs and menu, etc.
- Create and manage 30-day content calendars for client social media accounts
- Write English copy for static and video social media posts, including use of popular and relevant keywords, hashtags, mentions, etc. for client’s business
- Write English copy for SMS and
- Engage with other users, businesses, influencers, commenters, etc. in the business’ local area to improve social outreach, including but not limited to liking and responding to comments and DMs, as well as finding relevant content to repost.
- Coordinate photoshoots between client’s business and photographers, videographers, and/or influencers from their local area, as needed
- Pull monthly performance reports to update clients on changes to their social KPIs

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- Excellent English speaking skills
- Consistent and reliable access to high-speed internet required
- Strong experience with Hootsuite, Buffer, or other similar social media post scheduling tools
- Strong experience with content management on
- Experience with
- Experience with content management also on TikTok and YouTube preferred
- Experience with Asana or similar task management system preferred
- Competence with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
- Works well independently
- Takes direction(s) well when given
- Prefer someone who has personal Instagram and social media accounts understands the content environment
