JOB OVERVIEW

This is a work-from-home set-up, graveyard shift (7pm-3am)

We are a U.S. based contractor looking to hire a General Manager to oversee all aspects of our HVAC and General Contractor company. The general manager will be responsible for optimizing the company’s time, quality, and costs through efficient management of workers, construction project logistics, company financials, and marketing. Below are some (but not all) of the tasks you will be responsible for:

• Prepare construction budgets, construction contracts, and detailed construction schedules
• Supervise workers to monitor construction progress
• Monitor company financials including vendor accounts, subcontractor invoices, client billing, and office overhead charges
• Oversee administrative tasks relating to insurance, permitting, licensing and taxes
• Implement processes to guarantee cost and timeline efficiencies
• Coordinate all communications between workers, subcontractors, vendors, permitting departments, architects, and clients
• Manage procurement of material, supplies and equipment with respect to the project schedule
• Implement marketing strategies for acquiring new project/client prospects
• Assist in company hiring and human resources needs

Qualifications and Skills:
• 5+ Years’ experience of IN-FIELD CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION
• 3+ Years' experience of construction management
• Preferred: Experience working for a General Contractor in the U.S.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong initiative to complete tasks without direction from senior project managers
• Excellent communication skills displaying confidence in English and construction related matters
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Problem solver and analytical thinker
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Teams and Adobe
