Competent and Capable Full-Stack WordPress Developer Needed!

We are a US-based SEO Agency looking for a competent, capable, and highly responsive full-stack WordPress web developer with significant WordPress experience to join our team. This job is to build WordPress websites in accordance with our very specific requirements for search engine optimization, UX/UI and conversion optimization.

As a developer, you would be expected to familiarize yourself with our tech stack and agency practices for building beautiful WordPress websites that perform well in search engines and convert the right visitors into new customers for our clients. We would employ you on a full-time basis. We are looking to start and nurture a long-term relationship with the right web developer.

We know that most great web developers are not also great web designers. For this reason, we have others on our team who do nothing but web designs in Figma and then hand off those designs to our developers. If you are one of those very rare people who is great at both web design AND web development, this would obviously be a plus, but for this position, we are mainly looking for a great web developer.

Must have:

Mastery of HTML, CSS
Proficient with Javascript
Mastery of WordPress (at least 3 years experience) – including WP-Admin and WordPress file structure
Strong understanding of User Experience and User Interface
Fluent English
Ability to join ZooUpgrade to see actual infoetings with video and microphone on
Strong understanding of WordPress plugins and WordPress theming
Critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems on your own
Be able to work on a deadline
Ability to communicate and provide regular updates
Ability to use SFTP, if necessary

Nice to have:

Experience with the Breakdance Builder (this is our builder of choice)
Familiarity with site speed performance optimizations
Experience with other theme builders is not necessary, but nice to know.
Web design experience
Graphic design experience (Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience with Midjourney AI image generation (we use this extensively)
E-commerce website strategy experience (understanding conversion best practices)
