JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview
The Loan Processing Trainer is responsible for providing foundational and process-specific training in loan processing, with a focus on preparing trainees to submit loan files for underwriter approval. This role entails educating trainees on the parameters and criteria necessary to ensure loan files are ready for submission, including reviewing loan applications, understanding pre-underwriting requirements, and requesting additional documents or reports as needed. The trainer must possess a comprehensive understanding of all documents involved in loan processing and effectively communicate this knowledge to trainees.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to train staff on the procedure and documents related to loan processing.
- Gather complete and accurate information based on the loan application (1003 Form)
- Must be aware of the supporting documents provided such as their assets, salaries, debts, employment status, etc.
- Must come with moderate to high involvement in assisting Loan Officers with requests and tasks needed to complete and process applications.
- Must come with strong communication skills.
- Must come with good telephonic customer service experience.
- Efficiently aid the underwriters for final loan approval.
- Must come with sound knowledge of all the documents associated with 3r party services such as appraisal, titles, credit report, etc
- Should have the knowledge to perform review on all 4 C’s.
- Must have sound knowledge to review documents pertaining to 4 C’s of the underwriting.
- Should have the knowledge to review loan file documentation for missing or erroneous information.
- Should have a brief awareness of the US mortgage Origination loan life cycle (Low Skill), understanding of Mortgage Terms and Definitions.
- Must have basic awareness of the pre-underwriting requirements for loan approval.
- Excellent mathematical ability, strong analytical and decision-making skills

Required Technical Skills:
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Excel) suite of products skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent people management and stakeholder management

Job Qualification:
- Should be a graduate in any domain
- Should come with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience in learning and development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Classroom Management and Facilitation skills
