Character animator and Lottie creator

We are looking for a skilled character animator with expertise in creating Lottie files using pre-designed characters in Adobe Illustrator. As a remote character animator, you will be responsible for breathing life into our characters by creating captivating and seamless animations. Your animations will be used in various digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and social media.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Utilize existing character designs in Adobe Illustrator to create engaging animations.
Develop smooth and fluid character movements, expressions, and interactions.
Ensure animations are visually appealing, on-brand, and aligned with project specifications.
Deliver animations within agreed-upon timelines and meet project deadlines.
Communicate effectively with the team to provide updates and seek feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques to enhance animation quality.
Requirements:

Proficiency in character animation using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Lottie).
Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator for character manipulation and asset preparation.
Demonstrable portfolio showcasing character animations and Lottie files.
Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in character movements.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Availability to work on a freelance/contract basis.
