Responsibilities
• Create detailed CAD drawings for audio visual integration projects based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to understand project goals and design preferences.
• Generate accurate project estimates, considering factors such as materials, labour, and equipment costs.
• Review and analyse project documentation, including blueprints and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance design and estimation processes.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs meet technical requirements and standards.
• Provide technical support and expertise during the project lifecycle.
• Maintains regular, clear, and effective communication with all departments to ensure their needs are met.
Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Audio Visual Technology) or equivalent experience. (Highly Regarded)
• Proven experience in CAD drawing for audio visual integration projects. (Required)
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Star Draw, Revit, etc.). (Required)
• Solid understanding of audio visual systems and integration processes. (Required)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. (Required)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. (Required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. (Required)
• Experience in project estimation is a plus. (Required)
• Experience with Crestron, QSC, Extron. (Highly Regarded)
