Job Description:

- The primary goal of a BDR/SDR is to initiate contact with potential distributors or partners through targeted email campaigns and other outreach methods. Their main objective is to identify and engage key decision-makers like purchasers, sales personnel, or owners to set up meetings or calls with the company’s senior sales staff or the business owner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation: Research and identify potential distributors or partners in the target market. Use various tools and databases to gather contact information for relevant decision-makers.
2. Outreach Execution: Craft personalized emails and messages to engage potential leads. Manage and execute email campaigns aimed at introducing the company and its offerings, with the aim of sparking interest.
3. Appointment Setting: Follow up on leads via email or phone to clarify potential partners' needs and interests. Schedule meetings or calls between potential distributors and the business owner.
4. Pipeline Management: Maintain a clear record of contacts, outreach efforts, and responses in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Regularly update lead status and report on outreach activities.
5. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and tactics based on response rates and feedback from potential distributors. Provide regular updates to the business owner about outreach results and potential opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to write clear, compelling emails and to communicate effectively on the phone.
- Persistence and Follow-up Skills: Ability to keep pushing forward despite rejections, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple leads and maintaining detailed records of all interactions.
- Familiarity with CRM Software: Experience with tools like Pipedrive, Salesforce, or others is beneficial.
- Understanding of Sales Processes: Knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to identify decision-makers.
- Self-Motivated: Strong initiative and the ability to work independently toward set goals.

Experience:

- Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is typically required. Experience specifically in the industry of the company’s focus can be an advantage.

Educational Background:

- A degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is often preferred but not always necessary.
