Australian Tax Accountant

Work from home. We only process BAS and Income Tax Returns for individual sole traders, nothing else! :) Get paid well and enjoy a work/life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Business Activity Statements (BAS) and tax returns for individuals and sole traders.

- Income Tax Returns for individuals and sole traders.

- Knowledge of Australian GST

- Respond to email queries from tax clients - tax advice.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent.

- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Australian Accounting and Taxation, with specific expertise in Australian tax.

- Knowledge of Xero accounting software

- Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, formulas.

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
