Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Audio Podcast Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for audio production and a keen attention to detail. As an Associate Audio Podcast Editor at AV Pulse, you will be crucial in ensuring that our clients' podcast episodes are polished, professional, and engaging.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw audio recordings using Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition to ensure high-quality sound production.
- EQ audio to enhance clarity and consistency.
- Level gain to create a balanced and coherent audio experience.
- Remove filler words such as "umms" and "uhhs" to improve overall flow and coherence.
- Reduce or eliminate dead noise and pauses to maintain audience engagement.
- Enhance audio quality by removing background noise and minimizing distractions.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and transitions as needed to enhance the listening experience.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality edited episodes in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition.
- Strong audio editing skills, including EQ, leveling gain, and noise reduction.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience working in podcast production or audio editing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
- A passion for podcasts and audio storytelling.
