Job Description:
As an Amazon Product Development and Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and sourcing products to enhance our presence on the Amazon marketplace. This position involves extensive product research, collaboration with suppliers, and managing the product development lifecycle to ensure the success of our Amazon business.

Responsibilities:

Product Research:
-Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps within the Amazon marketplace.
-Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, and customer reviews to inform product development decisions.

Product Development:
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new products that align with market demand and brand objectives.
-Collaborate with design, marketing, and engineering teams to create innovative and competitive products.

Supplier Sourcing:
-Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers for product sourcing.
-Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive advantage and optimal margins.

Quality Assurance:
-Develop and implement product quality standards in collaboration with suppliers.
-Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure products meet specified requirements and customer expectations.

Cost Analysis:
-Conduct cost analyses to determine product profitability, considering factors such as production costs, shipping, and fulfillment fees on the Amazon platform.

Supply Chain Management:
-Monitor and manage the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring timely production, shipping, and inventory replenishment.
Implement strategies to minimize lead times and optimize inventory levels.

Compliance and Regulations:
-Stay informed about Amazon policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
-Ensure that products comply with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis:
-Utilize data analytics tools to track product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback.
-Make data-driven decisions to optimize product listings and enhance overall sales performance.

Qualifications:
-3-5 years of experience as an Amazon product development and sourcing specialist
-Proven experience in product development, sourcing, and supply chain management, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry.
-Strong negotiation and communication skills.
-Familiarity with Amazon marketplace policies and procedures.
-Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
-Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
