Amazon Product Development Specialist (New Product Launching)

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS THE EXPERIENCE IN END-TO-END PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. FROM SUPPLIER SOURCING, PRODUCT DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT TO PRODUCT LAUNCHING.

This role is 100% work from home.

In this role, you will be responsible for:


Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day operations, collaborating with the leadership team to optimize live products.
- Track, analyze, and report on weekly sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze trends within the niches our products are sold in.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and customer service staff, ensuring seamless coordination and reporting.

New Product Development (NPD):

- Lead and drive NPD initiatives, working closely with the leadership team to bring innovative products to market.
- Conduct thorough research to validate product ideas, ensuring a continuous pipeline of potential launches.
- Analyze Amazon data to identify lucrative product opportunities and evaluate the potential of qualified products.
- Assess potential products through margin analysis and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Supply Chain and Collaboration:

- Identify and source product suppliers globally, fostering relationships and optimizing collaboration with existing suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with the Launch Team to implement and adhere to standardized processes (SOP) for advancing products through the pipeline.

About You:

Core qualifications:

- 2-3 years of direct experience in Amazon FBA/eCommerce business operations and new product development.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end process of bringing products from the idea stage to market.
- Proficiency in using Amazon software and Google Sheets.
- Organized, tenacious, and a strong multitasker.
- Proactive and driven individual with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to drive business forward.

Advantageous:

- Experience sourcing products in the US is a significant bonus.
- Experience in the pet space and/or consumable products is a plus.
- Experience in a brand that has undergone substantial growth (e.g., from low 7 figures to high 7 figures).
