Amazon Product Researcher (mainly OA)

JOB DESCRIPTION: ONLINE ARBITRAGE (AMAZON) SOURCING SPECIALIST

We are looking for a skilled, full-time Sourcing Specialist with minimal (less than 12 months) experience/exposure supporting US-Based Amazon-selling companies. We are seeking a long-term employee to grow with us, taking on additional responsibilities over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing products for resale on Amazon. Techniques include:
o Manual Sourcing
o Keepa Product Finder Sourcing
o Reverse Sourcing (i.e., “storefront stalking”)
• Documenting leads via Google Sheets
• Identify possible products for Wholesale
• Other sourcing-related administrative duties as assigned

REQUIRED / DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Amazon Selling Experience (<12 months). NOTE: We are seeking to train an individual, not break someone of bad habits. If you have bounced around working with several other sellers, do not bother applying.
• Keepa Product Finder (if you’ve been exposed to Keepa via You Tube videos, that’s a plus but not a deal breaker)
• SellerAmp (if you’ve been exposed to Seller Amp via You Tube videos, that’s a plus but not a deal breaker)
• Knowledge of Sales Rank, ROI, Net (Operating) Profit Margin, Offer Count (Preferred but not a deal breaker)
• Excellent English skills

You must have a fast, stable internet connection and your own laptop. You should also invest in a 2nd monitor to be effective in this role if you do not already have 1-2 additional monitors separate from your laptop.

Please provide a speed test snapshot of your internet speed in your application, as well as a snapshot of your current computer set up.

EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR PERFORMANCE

• We expect you to snag / screen shot the Keepa charts of your leads and be able to explain WHY each lead is a potential good buy. For the first month, it is FAR more critical that you be able to explain your reasoning than it is your reasoning be right. In other words, if you think you will join a leads list and pass that off as your work, you will be dismissed. We are only interested in intelligent, independent, creative thinkers who will learn and grow.
• We expect you to work full-time, 40 hours per week at a minimum. Ambitious employees who wish to maximize their bonus may work more.
• We expect you to uncover 10+ leads per day once fully trained. What is most important to us is the profitability of the leads. Not every lead will be purchased; that’s ok. The leads with a potential of several hundred dollars of net profit per month will be purchased and maximizing the number of these leads should be your focus.
• We expect you to show up for regularly scheduled meetings, notify us when you’re starting your day or having any issues, or need time off.

Note: If you claim to be a more seasoned sourcer and have a legitimate reason for being “in market” for a new opportunity, we may ask you to take a short test to validate your skills and we will do a reference check from your previous employer. Our intent is to hire someone junior based on aptitude, but we reserve the right to hire someone with more experience under the right circumstances. Your interview will be a panel interview with three experienced Amazon sellers. Furthermore, be aware that our intent is to hire two sourcers on a provisional basis for one-to-two weeks and compare their potential. After the provisional (paid) trial period, we will select the strongest candidate and let both candidates know the reasoning for our decision.
