About the Role:
Are you a small accounting or bookkeeping firm looking for an exciting opportunity to partner with a reputable company? Join us as we navigate the intricate world of financial management together. We're seeking firms with experienced professionals who can contribute their expertise to ensure accurate reporting and efficient inventory management.

Your Responsibilities:
Financial Cleanup and Optimization:
Lead the cleanup of prior books and implement best practices for accurate financial reporting.
Dive deep into the details, uncovering hidden gems of accuracy and efficiency, and establish processes that ensure our financial operations run like a well-oiled machine.
Chart the course for financial excellence by merging and aligning accounts for straightforward interpretation and consolidated reporting.
Become the superhero of clean data, eliminating duplicate data in our systems.
Take the lead in revamping our financial models and policies, ensuring they're as solid as our beautifully crafted furniture.
Clean up the first quarter financials like a pro and set the stage for a fresh start with crystal-clear records.
Establish organized processes and procedures, including creating video and written SOPs, and implement project management boards to facilitate efficient communication and centralized management of passwords, account numbers, phone numbers, and payment methods to streamline financial operations.

Daily, Monthly, and Annual Bookkeeping:
Oversee payment collections and ensure our cash flow remains robust. Track the money weekly to guarantee we get paid on time every time.
Enter sales from POS, online sales, wholesale orders, and more with meticulous attention to detail so our records are accurate.
Take charge of weekly accounts payable and receivable reviews, maintaining steady financial progress.
Complete monthly reconciliations
Prepare for tax seasons like a seasoned pro, ensuring we're always ahead.

Financial Reporting:
Take charge of ensuring our financial reports are not only accurate but also delivered promptly, providing crucial insights to drive strategic decisions.
Present a comprehensive overview of the current month's Profit and Loss statement, balance sheet, budgets versus actual, and cash flow statements. Meticulously compare these reports with benchmarks such as past performance or projected goals to draw strategic insights that empower proactive financial planning and decision-making."
Conduct audits to ensure financial practices are in line with US GAAP standards and regulations.

Inventory Management:
Take command of our inventory management with confidence and expertise, leveraging your extensive retail experience and proven best practices to seamlessly catalog and streamline our inventory.
Utilize your advanced data analysis prowess to efficiently categorize and classify inventory, unearthing invaluable insights that propel us toward unparalleled success.
Lead our order processes with the finesse of a seasoned professional, overseeing every intricate step from item creation to procurement, delivery, and beyond. Utilize your expertise to create purchase orders, meticulously track orders, coordinate deliveries, and ensure seamless communication with our team every step of the way. Your attention to detail and precision will guarantee that every item reaches its destination flawlessly, from start to finish.
Maintain a vigilant eye on sales trends and inventory levels, drawing upon your seasoned expertise to maintain optimal stock levels that balance profitability with customer satisfaction. Prevent excess inventory and maximize cash flow.
Ensure seamless integration across all platforms by uploading products to our website and synchronizing data across all systems, including QuickBooks Online, inventory management software, and our POS system. Verify the accuracy of product information, including data, quantity, dimensions, pricing, and more, to guarantee a consistent and reliable shopping experience for our customers.

CFO Expertise:
Manage our expenses with precision, always on the lookout for opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
Track the profitability of our inventory and key drivers of our sales performance, ensuring we're on track to meet our goals.
Create easy-to-read and colorful KPI dashboards that tell the story of our financial journey.
Provide insightful recommendations based on your analysis to keep our business on course.
Prepare budgets and forecasts with the precision of a master craftsman, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a focus on inventory management and retail operations
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion

Software Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for comprehensive financial management
Experience with inventory management software to efficiently track and manage inventory levels and operations
Mastery of Microsoft Suite, including Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, and PowerPoint for presentations
Familiarity with Google Suite, encompassing Gmail for communication, Sheets for spreadsheet management, and Docs for collaborative document creation
Knowledge of project management software to streamline workflow and task management processes
