Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in the music industry. As an Accountant for the music industry, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. This position requires a strong understanding of accrual accounting and finance principles and experience in the music industry.



Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the financial transactions of HSQ.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data, including revenues and expenses.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide variance analysis.
- Maintain and update accounting records and documentation.



Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accrual accounting.
- Experience working in the music industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
