Long and Shortform Video Editor for German Videos

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor with expertise in editing German videos, both long and shortform, to join our dynamic team. As our Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into captivating YouTube long form and Instagram short form videos.

Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into engaging long form YouTube videos and short form Instagram videos.
- Enhance videos by cutting speech breaks, creating dynamic zoom effects, adding B-roll footage, and performing color grading.
- Transcribe and understand German video content to select relevant B-roll footage and make accurate cuts.
- Collaborate with the content team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Stay updated with video editing trends and techniques.


Requirements:

- Proven experience in editing German videos or videos that arent in English or your mother language.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong portfolio showcasing long and shortform video editing skills.
- Knowledge of video editing techniques, color grading, and storytelling.
- Ability to transcribe and comprehend German video content accurately.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
- Creative mindset and strong communication skills.
