STATE Bags, the elevated family bag brand known for our amazing kids backpacks, luggage and travel accessories for the whole family, is seeking Demand Planner to support in the inventory forecasting for our ecommerce and wholesale business.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual who is experienced with inventory forecasting in the consumer goods/accessories ecommerce space.

What we need:
Previous demand planning experience, ideally 3+ years
Strong holistic understanding of the inventory needs for an omni-channel business with a focus on ecommerce
Experience pulling Shopify and NuOrder reports, including sales and inventory reports
Aptitude for analyzing sales and inventory reports to elevate insights that drive the business
Strong and timely written and communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and willing to learn and create processes
A fast learner who is willing to go out of their way to pick up new skills
Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)

What you will do:
Build out the 12 month forward looking SKU forecast based on historical and current selling data
Analyze weekly selling on how we are tracking to forecast
Provide weekly reporting, highlighting SKUs that are over performing / underperforming to plan
Monitor and advise on replenishment plan, taking into account changes in selling velocity
Provide month end reconciliation and reporting
Maintain SKU forecast with new SKUs and changing receipt dates

Who you are:
3+ years of relevant experience in demand planning
Strong analytical skills
You’re an excellent writer and effective communicator
Proactive and resourceful / scrappy
You love spreadsheets and organizing information
You have extremely strong attention to detail
You’re a collaborative team player
