Web Developer/SEO Expert

We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer and SEO Expert who can assist with our development projects, help maintain our existing websites, and optimize our content for SEO.

Our website and app is at the core of what we do and is a direct representation of the services we provide.

Our membership site, The Business Lounge, has over 40,000 customers and we attract and reach new customers every single day.

We have enough full-time work right now to keep you busy, but the position will start at 5-10 hrs per week, depending on how well you perform we’ll be increasing work hours up to potentially 40 hrs per week.

The next Developer to join our team needs to be an experienced, talented, and proficient in English.

A homework assignment is required at the time of application, so get ready to show us your best stuff.

You will be responsible for the following:
-HotJar Analysis
-Homepage Updates and Maintenance
-Blog Redesign and re-structure
-Sales Funnel maintenance
-Broken Link Maintenance
-Escalated Tech Support
-SEO Project and Ongoing
-Pinterest and YouTube Search Optimization
-BB Support and Maintenance
-Assistance in big projects
-App updates
-Google Analytics Reporting
-Fixing and Monitoring Webmaster
-Google Tech Manager

PLUS be willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
1) Proficient understanding of WordPress CMS
2) Experience working with WordPress Multisite
3) Understand, read and write the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, MySQL, JSON
4) Proficient troubleshooting skills at the plugin, WordPress, Server and Database level
5) Implement best practices on post structuring (XML) for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
6) Implement SEO for WordPress pages, posts, images, meta data, etc.
7) Proficient skills communicating technical needs to third-party support agents
8) Identify and Report optimization and technical fix opportunities
